The Department of Financial and Environmental Law, established in 1987, provides the educational process in the state-legal profile.
It trains specialists in the field of labor, financial and environmental law to work in public authorities, law enforcement agencies, as well as various institutions and organizations.
The Department actively cooperates with the State Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, heads of administrations of cities and districts of the Republic, the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, the Office of the Federal Tax Service for the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Treasury in the region, the Control and Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Belarus, the Bashkortostan Customs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the State Labor Inspectorate in the Republic and legal departments of enterprises and organizations.
This led to the participation of teachers in the development of draft legislative acts, in the discussion of legal acts on specific legal issues, in their expertise, as well as in advising practitioners and citizens and other forms of communication with practical financial and environmental activities.
