Department of Civil
Procedure

The Department of Civil Procedure, established in 2002, provides the educational process in the civil law profile.

Prepares personnel for work in the notary and in the judicial

system. Increased attention is paid to practical training and specialization of students who have the opportunity to practice in courts of general jurisdiction, the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Belarus, in the Office of the Federal Bailiffs Service of Russia for the Republic of Belarus, in other executive bodies of the republic.

Under the guidance of teachers of the department within the framework of the Legal Clinic, students provide free legal assistance to low-income citizens, veterans of war, labor and the armed forces, represent their interests in courts, state bodies and local self-government bodies.

The department actively cooperates with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Belarus, the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Belarus, the Office of the Judicial Department in the Republic of Belarus, the Office of the Republic of Belarus for the organization of magistrates and the maintenance of registers of legal acts, district and city courts.
